Marianna helped us with all our family holidays, and it was a great pleasure. Always incredibly tasty, creative /kids loved the cake with skulls for Halloween most of all/ and with a very touching attitude towards our family members. Every menu was discussed with everyone who was ready to express their wishes. For our eldest son’s 17-th birthday Marianna taught a whole group of teenagers how to cook steaks properly – they were all very impressed.

Her patience and skill in guiding our then preteen girls through the process was truly heartwarming. The kids were not only delighted but left with newfound knowledge and a sense of accomplishment.

Marianna has cooked us the most delicious meals over the years including Russian blini or pancakes, little piroshki stuffed with mushrooms and cabbage, fragrant pies with fresh herbs and meat and the most wonderful fish pie with a creamy caviar sauce. She is the kind of cook who can create innovative dishes for hip new restaurants and she can surprise the most jaded palettes. But the main thing is she makes food with lashings of love. I went to a mouth watering brunch she produced with a group of young adults with learning difficultiesand I was blown away by the professionalism and the high quality of her team.

When she is at your house, your party guests are being served by a great chef who is also immensely entertaining as a great food writer can be. Just imagine: Yotam Ottolenghi or Anthony Bourdain or Nigella Lawson in your kitchen cooking for you as well as keeping your guests amused and their experience enriched.
