Marianna has cooked us the most delicious meals over the years including Russian blini or pancakes, little piroshki stuffed with mushrooms and cabbage, fragrant pies with fresh herbs and meat and the most wonderful fish pie with a creamy caviar sauce. She is the kind of cook who can create innovative dishes for hip new restaurants and she can surprise the most jaded palettes. But the main thing is she makes food with lashings of love. Marianna helped us with all our family holidays, and it was a great pleasure. Always incredibly tasty, creative /kids loved the cake with skulls for Halloween most of all/ and with a very touching attitude towards our family members. Every menu was discussed with everyone who was ready to express their wishes. She not only created a delicious meal but also taught the adults the proper knife techniques, making us feel like we were part of culinary process. One of the highlights was when Marianna took the time to engage with the children, showing them the art of crafting a brilliant tiramisu. Her patience and skill in guiding our then preteen girls through the process was truly heartwarming. The kids were not only delighted but left with newfound knowledge and a sense of accomplishment. Marianna is an inventive and highly accomplished chef and menu designer. She cooked a fantastic fish dish in filo pastry for us for a special dinner. She also taught our young son Max to make a very sophisticated and beautiful dessert. He felt so proud to be able to accomplish it with Marianna’s patient guidance and help.
